Biography

Domnall AKA Domnall II was the 146th High King of Ireland a member of the Cenél Conaill kindred of the Northern Uí Néill.

He was the son of Áed mac Ainmuire and Land, the daughter of Áed Guaire mac Amalgada of Airgíalla.

It is said that his wife was Duinseach who died in 639 or 641and they had the following children:^[1]

Oengus (aka Aengus) (died 650), father of Loingsech mac Óengusso (died 703), high king of Ireland

Fergus Fanat (died ?) father of Congal Cennmagair (died 710), also high king

Ailill Flann Esa (died 666)^[2]

Conall (died 663)^[3]

Colcu (died 663)

He passed away in 0642.
